The locals (Morairaners) are especially hospitable to the traveller and full participation in the local fiestas is welcomed and positively encouraged. The main fiesta of the year is the Moors and Christians, celebrated in the 2nd week of June, with the majority of the festivities taking place just behind the magnificent beach

Near Moraira there are many wonderful places to visit for all the family. Up in the hills there is Guadalest a very popular village with spectacular views. The village has only 250 inhabitants but is one of the most visited places in all of Spain.  Valencia is the nearest major city and is only an hour away by car or train. It has excellent museums art galleries and a fascinating indoor market to challenge anything you may have seen.
